The vision of our esteemed founder, Ms. Susie Sorabji, was rooted in faith and
courage. At a time when education of girls was not considered essential, she
sowed a seed of hope that has, over the last 118 years, blossomed into the
glorious institution of St. Helena’s School.
As custodians of this noble legacy, our commitment is to guide every student to
grow in knowledge, confidence, discipline, and values, so that she is ready to
take her place in the world with purpose. Guided by the wisdom of the Scripture,
‘I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; ‘I will counsel you with
my eye upon you’ (Psalm 32:8),
we strive to uphold the mission of shaping minds
and hearts together.
In recent years, the school has modernised and strengthened its facilities.
A state-of-the-art auditorium and swimming pool. Creation of new basketball
and volleyball courts. Recently installed Lawn tennis, pickle ball and badminton
courts on the auditorium terrace along with clean ambience are milestones in
our endeavour to provide opportunities for academic, cultural, and sporting
excellence.
Looking ahead, our earnest dream is to expand St. Helena’s further by creating
a large games field to build teamwork and resilience, and establishing ISC
programme that extends our nurturing environment into higher education.
With the management resolve, the dedication of our teachers, the trust of
parents, and God’s continued blessings, St. Helena’s will remain steadfast in its
mission of empowering girls to reach their fullest potential.
